Tuesday, January 1, 2008Happy New YearDate: 1st January 2008 Where a new chapter begins... Today's the much-anticipated 2008. A brand new year where a brand new chapter unfolds, and many brand new experiences await us. If I were to say, today's a very significant day, but it just didn't seem to possess that amount of significance which the word 'new year' suggests. Last night I had a real late night. Stayed up to help Faith with one of her General Paper essays. I wasn't particularly good in that language, but still I thought I might be able to help. Actually I promised her a full completed essay, but the brain just didn't function well at night especially after a day's work. Hence, I half-completed the task, with only a complete introduction and the rest all in point-form. She didn't tell me if the document was of much help, but I seriously doubt so. Hehe. Still, I hope it did help. After all, I really did stay up the whole night. A night's precious sleep shouldn't just go to waste like that, should it? I wanted to wait until she woke up this morning, but tiredness overcame me, and so, I dozed off, only to wake up this 1400h in the afternoon. Seriously, I've no idea what I did the whole day. A little of this and that, and yet even I, don't know what this and that refer to. Well, a day's wasted? Tomorrow's the first day of school. I'm so very looking forward to it. This is my fifth time attending a new school- 1st was when I went into Kindergarten, 2nd was when I changed to another kindergarten, 3rd was when I first attended true lessons at my Primary school 'Gongshang', 4th was when I first stepped into my secondary school 'NgeeAnn', and tomorrow's gonna be the fifth I've mentioned about, "Temesek Junior College'! It's definitely some kind of mixture, a bit of looking forward to, a little of excitement, and that bit of worries and etc. But wells, who cares. Everything will reveal itself when tomorrow comes.
