Sunday, January 6, 2008The path to Christianity opens hereToday is a Sunday, the what is supposedly rest day. But I did not have any of it. I slept at 0400h dawn and got to wake up so early in the morning to attend Joel's service and youth event. I was late because I did not want to get out. The church is located at Anglican High School, which is located at the top of a pretty steep slope. Despite aching and headache here and there, I decided to give the last stretch a final spur- I charged up the slope, and saw Joel coming to fetch me. So kind of him=) In the church, there were two pastors and some singers saying some Christian thing I don't know, but the songs were really nice. I love it. I sang along too. After that we went to the 3rd floor counciling centre to have the youth event. Today was the first service after the New Year, so they have this introduction program to help the new ones adapt better. I was the odd one in there because the newcomers were mostly secondary ones, while I'm JC1. That was so awkward. We had wacko, some dustbin game, some rubber band games, and some balloon game etc. The balloons were so big that several of them burst when we did nothing. Spontaneous explosion?=P But the happiest thing today still were still being able to catch up with my best friend and being able to see my most understanding and caring clone=). Been a week since last saw them. I was looking to this church's weekly event as a channel to at least maintain that friendship, else if we don't meet up, I'm afraid it would be lost sometimes later. Then we had lunch ,and hanged out for a while until late afternoon. Big sister was here with family at around evening. Saw my two nephews finally. Saw my sister in law too. He gave me some insights to keeping fish as pet, and the gruesome facts about the big fish eating frogs, and I teased my younger nephew in the pet shop. So fun... I'm in CG 25, which means I'm still a Zephon! Zephon rocks! And my subject combionation is so similar to my clone's=)Posted by Judah at
