After the previous post, it was indeed forgotten. Well, isn't it good to forget the unhappies and embrace the yet-to-come? Sunday service was as usual for All Saints despite some other churches having made special arrangements for the festive season, the Chinese New Year's eve to be particular. For some reason, or perhaps maybe no apparent reason, I decided to wear formal. The result of that was a series of probings regarding if I was going anywhere after church. The answer was of course a big "N-O- NO!" Haha. Church service was kind of like any other sundays. Joel said All Saints English doesn't have a CNY service. Oh well, I had a reasonable share back on Friday already=). Service that day was about 1 Peter Chapter 1 about how we are mere strangers in this world, at best, welcomed passer bys, and our home is in heaven where our Father is. Not bad huh? But the preacher is some doctor from some ministry, so he literally spoke like a lecturere. I couldn't help giggling at first, but the content got the better of me, so I focused better later on. Had lunch with the cell people at Han's before parting ways. Had a chicken chop, but I think 18 chef and a~ I forgot the name, tasted better.
Second part of the day was reunion dinner. Had a good nap before that, which allowed me to last til quite late into the next morning. So I had my 2nd steamboat and 3rd reunion dinner this year. The rest I shall leave them to the photos to tell the story. Anyway, big brother came home for dinner with some friends. Having a big chef in the family sure means something- the yu sheng was done so nicely, and he taught us little things here and there to make the food even more appealing=) Not bad=)
Abalone (not my favourite though)
Fish (my all time favourite)
Food=)
New addition this year: Cheese tofu (yum yum), straw mushroom (yum yum) =)
