The 3rd day
Today is the third day of Chinese New Year. After two days of intense visitation to houses of relatives, we were finally free today, and thus, able to draw and plan our own programs. By right, morning was scheduled to be a visitation to Cheryl's house, but to be met with a last minute change of plan. Nevertheless, KengChiaw still came to visit today. My dad gacve him an Ang Pao=P
He was here to learn some handicrafts from me for the coming Valentine's. So sweet right? While he's making it for his mortal, I'm also doing similar things for my special someone, whom kind of disappointed me times after times today. I dislike today! =( But anyways, those things weren't easy, and we struggled so much. Thus, whoever receives them, please do appreciate our effort, yea? Though it may not look very nice.
Around noon time, we met up with Joel and had lunch together. Of course, I chose to skip lunch, because I was pretty sure there would be food at Mrs Tan's house. Chatted randomly for a while, and took bus to Pungol to change to the Northeast line, which then took us to Buangkok. The place is pretty 'ulu' and deserted? First impression of the place was pretty empty and quiet. Yup, rare place to be found in Singapore.
Met Jonas and Kah at the station, which was later joined by Xiu Ling. New town, foreign place, so map was our best friend. But we were never good with it, and almost got lost. Fortunately, Jonas realised and corrected our drawn-out route to the location. So we walked on and finally reached that place.
Mrs Tan's unit was very nicely renovated. I love the layout, especially the small room which was set aside by some glass panels to form a little study room. We casually chatted for a while, then the guys isolated themselves in that small room for another while, before merging back with the bigger group. In between, a little episode set in, a funny one. The kitchen was also separated from the other rooms using a transparent glass door. It was so clean that it's presence is easily forgotten or unfelt. Mrs Tan had already warned us before hand about the kind of threat the passage possessed, but the girls weren't aware. So while we were playing games in the room, we heard a loud bang and the next thing we saw was that Lynn had already walked into that piece of glass. Hurts* But instead of standing up to help, the lot of guys were laughing uncontrollably in that same particular room. We were bad!!! =P, but it was really hilarious. Then I partnered Joel in one of the games. Nice to be partnering him again=)
After that, all of us took the bus to Changi Airport. Joel had a birthday dinner to attend, me and Keng Chiaw wanted to get presents for Valentine's, while the rest followed. I bought 3 slices of chocolate fudge for Joel's mom and his god-brother, because I seriously didn't know what to get. So back I was, at that shop I'm ever so familiar with- Cocoa tree. Bought many things to make something, and Kah an Keng bought their share too. After which I went home, had dinner and slacked for a while before coming on. Today was never a good day if I were to consider, because so many things happened, and most of them are unhappy things...Labels: I dislike today
