Energy level: recuperating
I am back again, after a long day. School's was as tiring as usual, especially when sleep deprivation is overcoming my body fast. It' not helping much, serious. As what was mentioned in the previous morning-entry, I skipped the first lesson. Then, in the worst state of mind, I had many other lectures and tutorials after break. One of them was Chemistry lecture, and the nodding-off was becoming so often that I think the lecturer noticed. Fortunately I wasn't the only one, and he was enjoying a good mood I guessed, so instead of scolding and nagging, he actually joked about it, about how the black heads (the top of the head was facing him when we nodded off) are going to haunt him tonight. After that, when we were about to leave, I noticed a small commotion at the back of the lecture hall. A cat had somehow managed to barged its way into the hall, and some who were afraid of cats actually jumped onto the chairs, literally. Human-cat war? Haha.
Then we had one of the most boring General Paper double-period of the week, which I didn't really notice what was going on during that. Had lunch, and today's my group's turn to do our presentation for Project Work, on leisure and pleasure and a wider adoption. We chose A cappella, which was pretty cool, because of how unfamiliar many people were towards it. Thus, the presentation begun. First segment was a mini showcase of A cappella performance- we sang happy birthday in the vocalist way. Sounded weird and many people laughed, but I thought it eventually became okay, which was so amazing=). Then presentation went on. Mine were the last four slides, two of which I had added the night before. They only gave me two slides=(. So somehow, I managed to stretch a little, with the four slides to go. Gavin's the one who really got the presentation going, while I just took advantage of the situation- build on the momentum, which turned out pretty well. "l'estremità" means the end on Italian, and I made that one of the slide. The effect was there because A cappella was originally an Italian word. I hadn't contributed much to the group, even during the discussion, and I guessed some of the group members weren't exactly happy with me. Reflection: I did the skeletal powerpoint which somehow provided something for them to follow through, and today I was kind of relief to see a few of my points in the presentation. Yup, not very much, but I did something okay?=P
Then after that we had double-period Chinese Language Literature. Could have skipped it like I've mentioned, but I decided against it. Then I regretted about the decision soon. I dozed off in during the lecture numerous times, before getting caught by the tutor, and got targeted and shot with many sarcastic comments. Awful period of the day. Had group physical education after that. Didn't run today. We had long jumps to foundation the triple jump that the teacher taught. Am fine with slow ones, but once started to run, I lost all coordination and failed two times. Haiz. PE ended really early today, and I decided to do some running. Chee Leong ran along too. It was decided to be 5 rounds, but later reduced to 4, and I realise why I don't do well in long-distance take-offs already. My strides are too small, and I couldn't sustain long strides because my legs are kind of heavy. So I shall work on that, then perhaps the chance of making it to the top 10 next year will be greatly heightened?
3 signs that my body is collapsing:
- I dozed off practically every where I went
- 5km used to be alright for me, and now I'm having spins with 1.6km
- Gastric struck even when I'm having meals
I guess that's all for today.Labels: forever tired
