Shiyan, you did a really good job! And don't be silly, you are more than competent in your job! Like really, 3 of you all, Kaizen, you and Daphne really gave us one experience of a lifetime. Of course, a recognition would be welcomed, but that was good enough already. Krystal and everyone who helped out ought to be credited. 

No doubt we didn't win, but our recognition came in the form of more than the superficial one. A huge majority of the population thought that we deserve much more than what we were given, and many more think that we deserve that crown. We don't care what people think alright? For those who have encouraged us and guided us along, we appreciate it, because that has really pulled us through some of the darkest time. As for those who are only capable of discouraging us and putting wet blankets on us, sorry but you all have failed. Because we never doubted our own ability. Much less that of the dance president! Thank you Daphne, really. After all, cheerleading is all about hyping up the crowd, so if within the squad, the spirit is already so dampen, how do we execute it on the actual performance stage. 

Success comes in the forms of many, and people who thinks that the trophy is everything is just too shallow for us to be bothered with.

10 reasons why Alpha cheerleading is so successful:

2. We formed tiongwei fanclub which remained very much intact even after cheerleading

3. We enjoyed all our practices despite all the tiredness, and really had a lot of fun

4. We awed the crowd on the actual day (our routine was the only one where there were waves of "wow" after "wow"!)

5. Ours was the only genuine cheerleading routine with a good mix of dance and stunts, and not DANCE  with stunt or exhibition of Indian stuffs (I mean no doubt the theme is Indian, but ultimately, it's still cheerleading)

6. Ours was the one that had caused the most controversy even after the results had been announced=)

7.  There were only laughters and smiles in all our practices (no scolding, no pressure)

8. our recognition comes from the public (even from non-alpha people and one of the judges who happen to be the only non-YOG)

9. We are productive and our progress was fast (elevators went up on first practice), and that was only possible when everyone tried their best (that is with a bit of gifts here and there of course). We encourage each other, and stand by each other until everyone is up in the stunt. Even until then, we still continue to cheer!

10. We are the only cheerleading squad that has outings after outings apart from training

Well, there are just too many to be contained within that 10. Because we are the loudest, the coolest, and our stunts the most impressive, our formation the most wide spread, and definitely, the most creative squad with so many new elements! And of course, the only squad with the best captain who showed his support by sacrificing his image! Alpha rocks!
