drop post=)
Wow, bao hui said joel's latest entry was a month from the last, but mine was numerous months before that. Well, time really flies. It seemed to be only yesterday that I was still experiencing the adrenaline ruch over the completion of the preliminary exams. And in actual fact, it's actually two more days to o'levels. To be exact, it's 1.5 days more. Hm... that's a long 36 hours, and appears much longer if gauged by minutes bah.
Frankly speaking, never i nmy life that I had once enjoy the preparation period. I would very much to see the sweet and juicy fruits that we had all sowned 4 years ago, but the period of waiting is dire. In fact, I'm so much into the approaching 'final lap'. How I wish, I could dash through the entire last stretch like how Habana did for Africa in the rugby worldcup.
Enough of all the grumpy complains I have about life. Well, life's pretty adorable aside from those. I love my life, and the people who 'made' my life. What would it be without the very amicable friends I have met down the three year journey? If I hadn't chosen Ngee Ann four years ago, life's gonna be so much different. Maybe an entire different encounter. No one knows.
But since I had chosen it in the first place, no more doubts. my sentiments about it? No regrets! Year one: I came into this unfamiliar land of blues, and embarked on a journey that will be enriched with the presence of many. Made my first friends etx.
Then life moved on. Thankfully, I came to 4r1 where I established fellowship with the few which would last for what may seem life eternity, I hope. Amongst all, special mentions of the best: Joel, KahChin, Elmo, Audi, Penguin, Bo Jun, Keng Chiaw, Bao Hui, Wei Yi and those whom I have left out due to a leak of mind.
Together, we have came so far, and achieved so much, TOGETHER. I am very much pleased that I opened up during the camp. As a matter of fact, that was the first time I got myself involved in an activity as much as then. Thanks to that, we fortified a 'stronghold' like class spirit which brought us so far. That was really impressive.
To me, 4r1 was more than just a class. It's more than just friends. It's a family with the many siblings looking out for one another. To quote a small dialogue:
Me:"~blah~ ~Blah~ ~Blah~.... 4r1's just like a family"
Cheryl:"Yea, that's why I cried in class just now mah!"
It's obvious that most of us shared the same sentiments as me towards 4r1. But life does not offer the Garden of Eden where all desires are fulfilled. The what may seem to be very long 730 days have finally neared end.
After reading Joel's latest blog entry, another gush of she bu de creeped up in me. Well, yea, we had so much fun, and had a wonderful chairman who went hands-on on almost every activity, and had a PMS teacher who's otherwise very caring towards the class, and had a soccer team who failed to win every league games but persisted on nevertheless with the same amount of enthusiasm and togetherness, and had a creepy-laughter self-claimed class chairman who's in actual fact a class- greeter, and had a 'summer nights' graduation day where we had so much to tell each other more, and had so so many so many memories that will be stored up here....
Well, I'm very assured that there will be an annual class gathering for the reunion for all of us, I hope. So, it isn't that bad afterall, I suppose.
Alright, enough said. Let's toast each other good luck before the actual day bah!!!
Plenty plenty of loves for 4r1!
