It's one day before National day, so there was this celebration going on in school. However, apparenly my mom thought I didn't have school today, and I was too tired to set my alarm before I slept. As a resut, I woke up only at 8. I was still a little dazed when I woke up, but soon after, I begun to panick. Gosh, I'm playing truant! First thing that came into my mind was to inform my form teacher. So the conversation was as follow:Me: Teacher, I'm terribly sorry I overslept. Last night I slept really late, and apparently my mom thought I didn't have school, and I was too tired to set my alarm last night. Do I have to go to school now?Him: Er... The celebration will end at 10. Why not you go to the Polyclinic and get a MC for migraine?Me: But I don't have headache....Him: Then get your parents write a letter stating that you were unwell when you woke up?Me: But I wasn't feeling unwell. Teacher, can I write an apology letter instead?Him: Can=)Wahaha, the first reply gave me a shock. I mean which teacher would be so nice as to ask his students to lie? So he treat us really good yea=) But I'm a good student too. So I chose not to lie. Woots! An improvement in my character=)So I went back to sleep all the way until around 10, Crys called, and I had to go to the school anyhow, to continue with Pinata-making. (This was also my first time coming across this word. Pinata basically mean the game involving the whacking of a ball-like structure, which aim is to retrieve the sweets from within. This game is traditionally passed down from the Mexican culture.) We had to do that because Alpha and Beta have combined to set up this non-sports function called the vivala pinata, which is fixed on the coming Tuesday. Despite most of the stuffs already done, we continued to meet up today to prepare the extras, just in case. So when I reached, there was only Oreo (sorry, I can't spell your name) in the room. All the other people have either gone for the sports appreciation, scholarship meeting, or simply just went for lunch. So me and her started doing the second layer for the half-done pinatas. Soon, Zen and Fang came to join us, and the four of us went opposite for lunch, which was further joined by Shiyan later on. I had brunch, so I didn't really eat. Instead I went to the old bubble tea stall to patronise. The drinks has always been up to standard, but today I tried their donuts too. Apparently, they didn't taste as nice. In fact, pretty awful, because the sugar tasted like powder.Back in the room, everyone was busy with their own work. The fear that normal sliced cheese would not complement the taste of nachos had been bothering me for some time after Krystal told me that the people are very particular about the cheese. So today, we changed supplier=) Woots! big amendments, and I got to fork out 130 bucks on Monday for the downpayment=( Halfway through, my thoughts gave way, and I fell into a very bad headache, so I took a short nap. I ought to feel guilty, but I really couldn't continue. After I finally woke up, I tried to help out a little bit more, before the security guard told us that the school's gate will be closed at 530. So it was really rushing, and we had to find some places to store our things, because we had to finish it outside, since school will be closed for the next few days. But that was kind of bad, because of it being so sudden. Some of the ex-AHS people even suggested All Saints CC. Everything seemed set, but was eventually refuted by someone Oreo called. So we decided on the Scholar's hostel. And we decided to finish the touching up for the pasting work opposite school. Waling on the street with large newspaper balls in our hands surely made us look stupid. Soon, my job was done, and I rushed to Bao's house to touch up on her drawing for Bo's birthday. I did the shading, which took me like 1+hours. It was long, but I was satisfied with my work. Simply because it was NICE! We watched Beijing Olympics' oppening, which was kind of facinating at the beginning. But the influx of different groups of participants from 56 different countries was boring. I took bus 293 with Joel, and reached home at around 10. So that's all for today.
