Saturday, May 31, 2008Today's Saturday, a day I would always look forward to if it's still school term. But for holidays, it just seemed pretty redundant because everyday is a day free from school. Holidays rocks! I had an invitation from Joel's mom (Aunty Grace I think) to their house for lunch, so honoured! But bad me, the evil in me forbid me to go to sleep because he wants to continue with the computer games. Therefore, I slept at 0700h in the morning, and had to be waken up by Joel's call at 1130h+. I almost forgot about the appointment. Today was certainly not a wait-for-bus day for me. On the two occasion I went to the bus stop, both the bus had just left minutes before I reached. Bus-waiting luck's really down on me. I reached Joel's house at a forgotten time, but who cares. I had a game of Fifa 08 and lucky enough, Everton beat Arsenal 3-2, my first debut win. Yakubu 2, Cahill 1, nice goals, whereas both Arsenal's goals came from set pieces. My second game did not go as well though. Man Utd lost to Chelsea 2-1. =( After that Joel played and Derby scored 6 goals against Chelsea for the first half, then 7 goals from Chelsea for the second half. All 13 goals scored by Joel. He's pro! =) Dinner time: Grilled chicken with my all-time favourite, crean of mushroom soup. Yum yum, delicious! I love the soup! Then went back to do some homework. I felt good. Finally after numerous days of slacking, I got myself started. Completed one tutorial! Woosh! By right, we were supposed to go for the soccer match. But when we were in the lift, the captain called. I pressed open when the lift was a t the 4th floor so that the connection didn't get lost. News? The match was canceled because the field was waterlogged after the rain. Woots! By left, I wasn't very prepared for such confrontation, and the thought of being scolded by some of the pro players really made me nervous. Hence, all I can say was that, thee rain came just in time=) Therefore, we went back to Joel's house. Wanted to study a little more, but couldn't get ourselves going. In the end, we played FM again with Joel. Neither of took Man Utd this time now, because we were really bored of it, despite both of us being Man Utd fans. I took Arsenal and he took Liverpool. We played all the way until 1830h when I finally left. Had so much fun! Dinner was another sumptuous meal- Steamed egg! Been so long since I last had it.
