Sunday, August 31, 2008The previous day was a Saturday, also the beginning of the so-called holidays. But everyone has to agree that this one week is in fact a very intensive self-study season, because promotional examinations are only 3 weeks away. I decided to have a really good rest before embarking on this long and brain-draining task, so I slept in until 10. In total I slept for around 8 hours, used to be the norm but has since become a luxury nowadays. At ten, that was when my dream ended, I decided to laze around in bed, and eventually dozed off again. Actual wake up time was 12 noon. Speaking about dream, it was a really nice one. I mean I've been having dreamless nights for quite some time, so this one really come in just in time for a little pleasant surprise. The dream was about the entire House Committee (Alpha) doing up some function, and the vacinity was the entire school instead of only a designated area. Yes, a house function the scale of an entire school. So it was really successful and ya, it rocks! =) Noon, I set off to Joel's house to study. Managed to complete half of the year's mathematics topics, and I ought to be satisfied. Went home to have a change of clothes before returning to Joel's house for more study. By then, Bao was already with us. So 3 of us studied all the way until 11 where Joel was kind of brain-drained. After which we watched Passion of The Christ, and once again the show touched me deeply, despite it was my second chance watching it. Jolyn had wanted to join us initially, but Joel kept dallying with his work until she went to sleep. We watch it together next time again=) This time round Joel helped me to clarify some of my questions regarding that final 12 hours and it was really insightful. Thanks Joel!
