O Holy Night
God's Angels guided me through

brightening darkness; removing obstacles

to have seen me thus far

Secrets of the woods become secrets no more

For God has commanded me to share my experience

with those whom trust and don't

as the encounter would witness and stand

and show the greatness of our mighty Lord

God bless

Today alarm rang at 6. I woke up, snoozle it and went back to sleep. Soon, Joel's alarm also rang. I woke Joel up, he went to shut it off, and both of us continued to sleep. Joel's kind of another pig too. Joel had agape again, so I attended sermon alone. I'm getting used to attending sermon alone already. Joel's duty at the other side is becoming more and more often nowadays and my other only companion refuses to sit with me anymore. So don't be surprise to see me sitting alone sometimes. Fortunately most other people ain't like that, they are still willing to sit with me, still comfortable with me. I like worshipping. The songs are always nice, and today I fell in love with another song: Open the eyes of my heart Open the eyes of my heart, Lord Open the eyes of my heart I want to see You I want to see You Open the eyes of my heart, LordOpen the eyes of my heart I want to see YouI want to see You To see You high and lifted up Shinin' in the light of Your glory Pour out Your power and love As we sing holy, holy, holy Open the eyes of my heart, LordOpen the eyes of my heart I want to see YouI want to see You Open the eyes of my heart, Lord Open the eyes of my heart I want to see YouI want to see You To see You high and lifted up Shinin' in the light of Your glory Pour out Your power and love As we sing holy, holy, holy (Repeat two more times) Holy, holy, holy We cry holy, holy, holy You are holy, holy, holy I want to see you Holy, holy, holy Holy, holy, holy You are holy, holy, holy I want to see you Holy, holy, holy Holy, holy, holy Holy, holy, holy, I want to see you (Repeat five more times) Apart from that, Pastor's Phillip's preaching was fruitful too. Learnining point: (Jeremiah 1)
  • Use our talents for God and His purposes versus using our talents for what the world wants of us (good results, good jobs etc.)
  • We live for that life and love versus we live to make an impact to the world.
  • Focus on God's power and words rather than on one's own weaknesses.
  • Clear the "wrong pictures that have been gathered from bad experiences for that they will obstruct the rightful biblical teaching.
  • Life of learning to hear Him and know His will.
  • God has a specific design and purpose for us.
  • God has faith in us, so don't doubt ourselves.
During Poiema, we watched nooma again. Today's nooma was about God walking on the water. I forgot what book already. But it teaches us to believe that God has faith in us, and God is for everyone. Anyone can come to Him. Lionel joined us for youth today, and we played cards. Shall teach him bridge next time. Although the game has some sentimental values in it, it has already all become the past. After youth, I played soccer with Joel using tennis ball, and it was so fun. We were later joined by YanJun, Iris and Charmaine. Fun! Long time never play already. Later in the noon, most of us went to Sampung to have lunch together. Alvin, Joel and me jogged there, while the rest went in Pastor Steven's car. Halfway through it begun to rain. So by the time we reached there, all three of us were already soacked from head to toe. We had lunch at the second storey. It was my second time. My first was a few months ago where I had some noodles. How I miss those times.... But today I didn'd have much appetite, so I ate desert instead. Watermelon sago is nice! Then we went back to the CC to do work. It was kind of productive because I manage to complete one tutorial. Today's weather wasn't bright, very much like my mood. The rain started and stopped- very unpredictable. The original plan was to leave by 5, but rain trapped us in until 6+. So me and Joel decided to take train instead. Today's the closing ceremony of the olympics. All chinese around the world ought to be proud of what China had done. Although I've beern very skeptical towards China prioritising Olympics over the more pressing poverty issues, its achievements today had exposed me to so much things. I'm proud to be a Chinese! China rocks!
