Today's Friday, today;s test day, today's the first day. Day's been a total different, as well as a pretty torturous one. I guess I would just have to adapt. Had a mini meeting with Theen for lunch, discussed some issues and discovered some problems. I believe thereafter Alpha would shine even brighter. For the first time, I thought Physics was ok. School was pretty much dry after. Gamma and Delta had their house function today after school, and I thought I heard it was successful. Congrats.Me, WanNing, Zen, Teresa, Phay and Matt had SNYO (singapore National Youth Orchestra) duties, so all of us left in 2 taxis at around 445. IT started raining soon after so we were lucky to get onboard on time. Me, WanNing and Zen took a cab and it was fun? We bullied Zen, and made a bet on the taxi fare. So all of us were literally looking at the meter when we were about ti reach the place. We had fun...After being assigned to our duties, all of us were given our free time of around an hour where we had our meal- mashed potato, coreslaw, chicken wing, rice, and camwhore a lot. We were finally assigned to one of the small rooms at the back of the stage. I mean I've been there for performance so many times, but all we got was always the common room on the second level. These rooms we got today were usually reserved for guest performer so I was kind of glad we get to use it. Camwhoring was fun. Pictures will be up as soon as WanNing, Phay Key and Matt upload the photos. Then we were dissipitated to our assigned areas for duty. My job- to open and close gate for our guest-of-honour's (Ms Irene Ang) vehicle. This guy called Mr David Tan was with me for my duty so all the more I slacked. I merely took instructions from him. After that, all of us went up to the second floor for more refreshments, very much the delicious left-overs of the special guests' buffett. The food was really nice, and we even took one styrofoam boxful of take-aways with us. So we actually put aside the face issue. After that when the interval was over, we went up to the second level's circle gallery to watch the remaining concert. It's a performance by some pro-viola. They were really cool. Check out Friendship Festival of Chamber Music (sistic). It was really cool. And I joked around by swaying my arms up high since the place wasn't at all really occupied. Halfway through the concert, there were frequent bombings heard. Initially I thought it might be some of the special effect of the violin, something like the violin's skill of plugging. But I could not find the source of it. It was before long that I realise it was due to the fireworks that were being shot into the sky right outside us. I heard it's Korea fireworks and they were expensive. We wanted to go out and watch, but the personnel forbidded us to leave the galery. Towards the end, I was asked to leave with Mr David to our duty area, so I was fortunate enough to catch the last glimpse of the firworks. The finale was a humongous one, and loud one. But apart from that it wasn't really special. It's still very nice though. After concert, we took more photos before making our way home on train. Pictures will speak for themselves when all are uploaded. Until then, hope I'm doing well.Sentiments:Sometimes it's really hard to put on a strong front when the inside is bleeding. Superficial observation should never be a cause of interpretation, I might not be happy when I smile....
