Wednesday, May 14, 2008It's Wednesday and also a day which I had my record of going to school the latest. True enough, when I checked with my civics tutor my attendance, I was really late for school today. Wednesday had, has and is always the slackest day of the week all the time. First and last period of the day were the only formal and proper periods we had. In between, I went to meet EeWen to discuss some parts of the GPP. I realise I'm having more and more complaints theses days, perhaps because of the sudden surge in the amount things that I'm unhappy with, or maybe because I'm just becoming a difficult person, like I used to be. Oh well, whatever. The discussion was pretty productive. Ideas seemed to be finding its way back into my head already, I had some impromptu ideas and stuffs, and I thought the plan simply rocks. During one of the free periods, we met with Ms Thangum- Me, Kaizen and Krystal. Believe it or not, half my conversation with her was surrounding academics stuffs. Gosh, I'm the cause of worries. Should get started with my revision and be a diligent boy for once. Being PDP-less allows you to have all the time in the world to rest and take things slowly. That's when you realise how beautiful life can be. But today, PDP-less seemed to be unveiling the ugliness behind that facade. When all your friends wondered off for their PDP, when you are left alone by yourself, when you feel that you are so stranded and belonged no where... That's how bad PDP-less can be. Having too much free time just allows one to ponder and think so much... Finally, House Committee meeting was about to start. 3 of the girls were absent, so Alpha only had 8 people. Basically, it was only some briefing about the camp's regulations and the pack-list. Other wise, it was just any other talk you hear at some not-so-grand opening ceremony. After that, there were only four of us left behind because the rest had left for their other commitments. Theen told us that the food was rejected because of this and that, because this contained staple food, and that contained egg. Alright, meaning most, if not all, the things me and Matt and the other nominees did the other day were all wasted- our efforts. Anyway, the ideas surge continued to come in still, so we were able to come up with many more cool and nice dishes. Here are the names, decipher yourself what kind of food they are: Leaning Towers of TJ, Sexy Eruption, Unity after Trinity, and Hot winter. Personally, I thought hot winter was the best thing. After that, me, FangXiong, and Krystal went to Tampines Mall to shop for some stuffs. We were later joined by Matt. Krystal bought her contact lens solution, FangXiong had to get his blue shirt and socks, Matt had to get his track pants and bermudas, while I got myself a bag and a shorts.
